NWHM Video Submission Terms

The National Women’s History Museum will compile videos submissions and share select submissions on our social media channels and other online platforms. By submitting your video, you give the National Women’s History Museum the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, assignable, and perpetual right, in its sole discretion, to use the name, image, voice, and likeness of any individuals appearing in the video, and to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, publicly perform, broadcast, transmit, and make derivative works from your video, for promotional, marketing, advertising, archival, or related purposes, in any medium now known or later developed. You represent and warrant that the video is your own original work and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights in and to the video. If requested, you, or if you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian, will sign any documentation that may be required for National Women’s History Museum to make use of the non-exclusive rights granted herein. The Museum reserves the right to decline any submission deemed inappropriate for the project or submitted in violation of these submission terms.
