During this event, viewers enjoyed a dynamic live conversation with acclaimed author and historian Dr. Keisha N. Blain as she discussed her new, Without Fear: Black Women and the Making of Human Rights.
In this timely and powerful work, Dr. Blain highlights the pivotal yet often overlooked role that Black women have played in shaping global human rights movements. The conversation was moderated by Gloria L. Blackwell, Chief Executive Officer of the American Association of University Women, and explored the legacy, impact, and continued relevance of Black women’s activism across generations.
