Join American Experience and the National Women's History Museum on June 29 for an exclusive preview screening of a clip from the upcoming American Experience film “The Vote.” This virtual screening will be followed by a panel discussion with producers and experts from the film, as well as a representative from NWHM. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and join the conversation.

In this excerpt, Alice Paul takes suffrage protest to a new level, organizing a daily picket at the gates of the White House. As the National Woman Suffrage Association builds political capital by supporting America's World War I effort, Paul's picketers are arrested, thrown in jail, and forced to endure horrible living conditions.
