Join the National Women’s History Museum as we participate in the 2020 Girl Scout Day celebrating the accomplishments of women in aviation and space exploration at the Air & Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA on Saturday, March 14^th! Take the controls of a flight simulator, go inside an inflatable planetarium, see the Space Shuttle Discovery, experiment with the forces of gravity, and speak with female scientist and engineers all on the same day. Find the National Women’s History Museum table on the museum floor and help the NWHM Education & Engagement Team explore Newton’s Second and Third Laws of Motion by building bubble rockets using film canisters. Girl Scout Day at the Air & Space Museum is free and open to the public, so all are welcome to attend. Parking is $15.
