Alexis Clark is a 2nd Grade teacher in Brooklyn, NY. She is also a caregiver for her grandparents who both have Dementia. She impacts the lives of her students and her family by showing up daily as well as giving her best self. She wrote children's books during the pandemic to promote representation in literacy.

Alexis and her friends and family are most proud of her two children's books that she wrote. The first one Lexi Dreams!  that inspires children to make change at a young age. The second book is Lexi's Determination! and it pushes children to be determined and stay inspired in honor of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Alexis attended Spelman College for undergrad. She then went to Brooklyn College and received a Masters of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Currently, Alexis is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. She has been featured on BNC, NBC4, and PIX11.
