Scott Hefter
Scott is currently a senior advisor for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) focused on the Federal Government and serves on several non-profit and private boards. He is an experienced leader with over 30 years in management consulting as both a client facing partner, as well as, serving as a COO and CEO. He is known as business builder, and global collaborator with expertise in strategy and operations helping solve the most challenging issues facing executives in private, public, and social sectors.
Scott has worked with clients in over 30 countries and in a wide range of industries including Telecommunications, Electronics, Consumer Products and the Public Sector.
In addition, Scott served as the COO for AmeriCorps the federal agency that organizes national service programs across the U.S., empowering individuals to serve their communities and address critical needs like education, poverty, and disaster response.
Recently, Scott has been focused on working with organizations that enable dialogue and foster building relationship across geographies and generations. This includes exploring and building virtual business models, leveraging technology and increasingly AI. He enjoys working with and mentoring young professionals.
Scott, and his wife Anne currently split their time between Connecticut and Manhattan. They have three grown children who also live in the Northeast.
