Melanie Barber is the Chief Risk Officer at the United States Mint. She is responsible for creating the Mint’s Enterprise Risk Management program and leading the bureau-wide approach to risk management. Prior to joining the Mint, Melanie worked in the private sector in project, program and account management for several multi-national engineering firms and spent time as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army. Melanie is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
